I think a big area that people overlook is then the logistics of fueling. I've always sort of thought the gold standard is a gel bottle on the frame normally the air bottle just full of all your carbohydrate you need, and then essentially water for the rest. And most gels are really low in electrolytes, especially those that are like essential, like say sodium. So we want products that contain also sodium for the hydration to maintain the plasma volume and prevent hyponitrimia. For instance, like SIS, they are just don't really have any electrolytes. They designed a brother, friends so that people would still get electrolytes from other sources.
