The Intention to Notice Your Breath

Even if you don't start necessarily a new breathing practice, just the simple intention that you are setting in your mind to notice your breathing is a massive and beautiful place to begin. The more you can continue to bring that forethought into the present, which is literally an intention, I'm going to notice my breath today. You might find that you're mindlessly scrolling on social media and suddenly you come to and are like, oh my gosh, I wasn't breathing. Or maybe your breathing gets suddenly really labored. And I think, are you okay? Well, you weren't just working out what's going on there. That's really powerful and that will happen with practice.
