If you know ahead of time, when you're setting up your training, i'm going to have a one week vacation with my family on week ten, just structure your training so that week's a delo week. It gives you a lot more flexibility. You're able to reduce your volume and intensity. If it happens to be really busy and you have very little time for running, you can just do a little bit more than you normally would.
