The Base Level of Strength

If you don't press 250 overhead, your shoulders are vulnerable because 250 overhead for a good athlete is not a big press. Everybody ought to have a 250 press, 325 bench, 450 squat, five and a quarter deadlift. I saw a statistic the other day that if you can bench over 225, you're like in the point zero 1% of the population. It's unfortunate. We've effectively surrounded ourselves with like-minded individuals where we think this is just part of the deal. The more people we can pull into our circle and try to infect with the belief like Greg Glassman,. you've barely infected the world into thinking it was better to be strong than elite.
