iwill be speaking with ching sin who currently works as a food safety specialist at upside foods. Upside foods was one of the first start ups to solely on cultivated meat and is famous for creating the first cultured meat ball, chicken and duck products. Prior to working on upside foods, ching was a product development assistant for alecart connections during her studies in food science at the university of california davis. She inturned at california spice basket, perishable foods council of northern california, nevada and wind food minmar. Every two months, she volunteers at the ron don house to help with gardening, cleaning, cooking and distributing meals for families
