People who judge themselves very harshly, always judge others very harshly. You have to understand so much of choosing well and having discernment is understanding yourself and honoring yourself. And I have to imagine if we can accept ourselves despite our flaws that then connect as a bit of a template for accepting our partners and loving them despite their flaws. Absolutely.
