How to Tea Bone a C-Stand

i use the fabric because the fabric can just fold up into like a little bag and you don't have to have like all this machinery. There's really just different thicknesses of the fabric so obviously the thicker it is in theory it will diffuse it more, should spread it more but i mean i guess that's similar to what you're talking about diffusion in photography too. I just happen to always use like the quarter or the lighter versions because i don't have very powerful lights and so i need to have that more output but yeah.
