The Effects of Animal Messaging on Misfits
The animal messenger actually did really well and the way that we tested animals was in terms of like a quote from an animal. We also tested some different images of animals alongside quotes from like slaughterhouse workers to see if people would feel emotionally manipulated by them. A particular image we we tested was of chickens who were still in the slaughter line had been defethered so they looked both like chickens or birds. That seems to bring up disgust and have people support the issue without that defensiveness without that sense that you're trying to manipulate me because it's not a kind of during slaughter image it's this like a post slaughter image.
