The Effects of Exercise on Muscle Fatigue
When I did my PhD was on fatigue for the interest, we started off with this model that fatigue was all in the brain. We said that's not real. There is such a thing as peripheral fatigue. The muscle does get tired independent of the brain, but the brain remains in control of it. You see this much quicker than you would in endurance. Going to lift a too heavier weight and just do it safely. And you'll know exactly what I mean. So there's no doubt that at the level of the muscle, there is fatigue.
