Switch Reference Marking
Switch reference marks are used to mark the boundaries of clauses. They can be placed on different parts of a word, or even separate words. Wikipedia has an example from Washoe which looks like you actually put it on the first verb. But then there's also the, they also have an example of the having a different conjunction in Kailwa.
