The Different Types of Triangulation
Triangulation is using two points to determine the location of a third point. It first came to be associated with the work of psychiatrist Murray Bowen and Bowen developed in the 60s, basically family systems theory. The way that this plays out in real life is that the third person is sometimes used as a substitute for direct communication.
