Breaking Sleep: A Collective Experience
Broken sleep is the number one sleep problem around Australia. 89% of people were experiencing disturbed sleep in a recent study. Getting up to use the bathroom once is very, very normal. However, being disturbed by noise, lights, dogs walking around, this is a sign that you are in a light stage of sleep. There are white noise machines which you can use to mask background noises. In terms of light, there's blackout curtains. A range of strategies such as these could reduce the likelihood that you are going to wake up from external disturbances.
