The Importance of Bringing Tech in to Design
Many organizations still don't quite understand why design and tech need to work together as a cross-functional team. I think it makes the developers' job a lot more rewarding when they can participate in conceiving what the product is going to be. When people get a chance to do that, they respond. And the other thing as well is I love working with developers because they bring new ideas in. As a designer, I'm not always close to the latest bit of tech that you can bring into that. So we came up with a solution and then tested it with customers and it worked really well.
