John, hiht, they're all very sceptical that you can do much about this on your own em. You really need to be in a good group in order to overcome this kind of bias. It's so easy to spot in other people and so hard to spot in ourselves. So what if we got together with some other people and let's make a deal? Instead of the deal of i'll tell you my bad beat story, and then you tell me yours. What if our deal is, i'm going to spot your bias, and you'll spot mine, and we'll have each other's back?"
I have wanted to do this interview for a long time. On this episode, I am thrilled to have Annie Duke, former professional poker player and author of the new book, Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don't Have All the Facts.
