Do You Really Need to Overlook Your Schedule?

A good rule of thumb is to try to estimate how long a task will take you and then double that time. Humans consistently overestimate what they can do in the short term, which is actually a research based fact. If we know that, then your job is to increase the time that you estimate something's going to take you. Just do yourself huge favor. Don't shod on yourself with this.
