The Importance of Community in Our Times

I grew up in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, which at the time was like 10,000 people. But I also lived in like, arena,Wisconsin, which was like 200 people,. Many, many small, and it's small Wisconsin towns. It's a small place where everyone knows each other. And they have a lot of concerns about their own material reality - literally starving child mortality -- things that are really, really awful and really, really real.
