Stu Bana: I never run a SaaS company. And so there was a moment where we're running out of money and I was like, Hey, I don't want to put in more money. We raised $880,000 on a convertible note from friends and family that would convert into equity at a future date. He reached out to the 10 most prominent e-commerce people to invest at Stu Bana. One is Brian Lee who started Lidl Zoom with Jessica Alba; another is his former Amazon manager James Thompson.
