The Importance of Ambivalent Relationships in Business
Logan's kids, and we see this in real life too, are ambivalent in the sense that obviously Logan's a narcissist or a taker or just an asshole. But they have this relationship with him where they, on the one hand, clearly want him out of the picture. On the other hand though, they're dependent on him and they respect some of his competence and expertise. psychologists have been studying this for a long time. And it turns out that the worst kinds of relationships are often the ambivalent ones.
