Introduction

Exploring the concept of abolition and its relationship to innocence as a barrier, this chapter discusses how multiple crises have exposed the faults and contradictions of our society, particularly in relation to prisons, policing, and platforms. Critical geography is introduced as a tool to understand the perpetuation of racial capitalism and surplus populations, while also considering the possibilities of liberation and reorganization in our communities.
