The Importance of Negotiation
When you think about negotiating as an ally, it's easy to think about us versus them. The people with whom we negotiate the most are the people who are closest to us. If you don't identify these conversations with your fellow allies as negotiations, it's really easy for people to get disenchanted and vilify each other. It takes a lot of humility and self-awareness to recognize that.
