When some companies say they're going to grow an audience, what they want is a community. When other brands think they're building a community, what they really have is just traffic. We associate audience with the word captive, a public audience as a public speaker. But there's more depth in commitment when you know who i am and there's still a time for it. The next level down in our work is evolving from traffic to audience to community.
