Lighter: If they have absurd intentions that are written in the law, okay, that's fine. But if it's not in there and you just wanna go and look back and look at, okay, what were they arguing about when they passed law? I think that's bogus. Lighter: A law that says we wanna preserve species despite their aesthetic qualities is not by definition absurd. The absurdity is spending a gazillion dollars on something and having it almost be complete and then stopping right before it's complete.
