"I'm trying to reinstil in you a sense of reality. The reality of the situation is your muscles get bigger when they get stronger," he says. "This hypertrophy training is just a version of you wanting what can't happen." If you're not getting stronger, which means one thing, you're putting more weight on the bar and lifting it. Take heavier weights if there's no other reality. Find with me what you want to do but don't try to do this easy way. Hard doesn't work. That's the only thing that makes you get bigger.
