Beauty brands often work with trend forecasters, futurists and some who work specifically on color. Where are they pulling these like rabbits out of hats from? That's actually one question that I looked into when I first started this dissertation work. There's different colors of the years and different groups predict them. They tend to be pretty consistent, but they're not always exactly the same.
