The evidence suggests very noisy environments make coffees taste more watery. Neuroscientist Fabianna Carvano has a theory as to why this is the case. She says our neurons cannot deal with overload so they kind of stop processing something to process something else. If something is really calling your attention like a loud noise your brain can no longer pay attention to others stimuli such as taste.
