In a chicago restaurant, a big problem was people who would call, make a res ation and then not show for it. The owner of the restaurant tried a small technique that dramatically reduced no shows. He asked his receptionist: Will you scall if you have to change yor cancel your reservation? Of course, that produced a 67 % drop in no shows.
