I imagine that people that have, let's say, failed over and over through their endeavors get conditioned to where it's harder and harder to pull out of that first step of the situation into the positive thought. So because I'm choosing that to make it a problem, I still feel hopeful. Like nothing's gone wrong here and this isn't true for me. This is my body. This is how old I am and this is what has been happening with my hormones. And once you can even create that like neutrality around like, yep, this is going on with my hormones, and I'm going to choose to not made it a problem. It's like a stoic philosophy.
