Renewable trash burning just doesn't make sense. No human animal or piece of land is benefiting from it. Monopoly markets inundate borders of developing countries, perpetuating toxic colonialism on behalf of rich societies. Out of all these people, children of color are most at risk. This is an issue that calls to be fixed. The goal of restoration could be achievable if we hold all those accountable. Yes, corporate wasteful practices and incinerators do have seniority, but we know they don't fit in a world where clean air has become top priority. These are substances no one should have to bear.
