Rogue Legacy: A Game That Hit the Pitch Perfectly
C1 was not originally a roguelike. We were making like a Castlevania type game. The idea that you generate X number of like rooms or art styles and it sort of reuses them is what got us started. And so while that ultimately, I don't know if that actually made things cheaper for us in the end, that's what got us Started. But we actually, yeah, designed it off of Dark Souls as well? Right.
