How to Create Consistent Behavior Change

At the beginning of a training cycle, sometimes you do get through the entire training cycle, but you burn out afterwards. Often what happens in this case is that when you have set this big goal to affect the behavior change, you've had to make a big jump in your training load to get there. Outcome goals, accidents of motivation and fear based behavior change are not effective tools to create the patterns of behavior and the consistent behavior. You can't shame and hate your way to your long term goal.
