I think I just jump into it. You know, okay, what can I do about it? But sometimes that's not doing the most essential thing. It might be posting something on social media because it's consistent with the goal. Oh no, you know, the more unproductive result would be to look at posts that I've already put out and see what people have been responding to with it. Okay. So now you've filled in all three of those circles, right? The trigger, the behavior and the results are the reward.
Addiction psychiatrist Judson Brewer, M.D. (author, Unwinding Anxiety) explains the surprising connection between bad habits and anxiety. Dr. Jud and Greg discuss how fear, worry, and evolutionary origins contribute to addictive behaviors and cycles. They explore specific techniques and a step-by-step process to effectively reduce anxiety.
