Do You Think There Will Be More Opportunities for Foraging?
Japan is seeing a huge amount of rural decline. Places that did use to have farming communities ting to dwindle and die out. Do you think as fewer people live in these areas, wee are she going to lose those stores of knowledge we were talking about that help keep foraging culture alive? You said earlier that some of your favourite places to forage are abandoned places, like an old railway line that's been left to overgrow with plants. I would say, of course, there are certain plants you can only get in the deeper mountains and less less managed woodlands.
