i have a theory about why it might be the case that so many of preach's people don't parrot his instructions to the letter. And i think it might just be related to one of the key differences between teaching with a technique based approach versus teaching with a concept based approach. Ifyou really think about what you're asking your students to do, you're basically asking them to just copy everything you do exactly.
