Turning Down That Stimulus Is Important
i think a day off from this stuff like really, really helps. Like it re introduces your mind, like how reality should work. The other thing is to not only worry about the things that help you lower that bar or turn that stimulus down. Find things and do things that put you back in how your stress response system is supposed to work. It's just a part of everything we do because it's so integral to our species. And i don't think it's good to bury one's head in the sand completely.
