markets. Is it time to get ahead of the downturn? Hi everyone, welcome to the Real Vision Daily Briefing with me today is Ben Miller, co-founder and CEO of FunRise. Hi Ben, it's great to have you back on.
Speaker 1
Yeah, thanks for having me.

So it's been quite a week, quite a week for you because you just told us you're off a red eye. So thank you for persevering and joining us. But another big move in bonds, a 10 year sitting really close to that 5% mark, a little, less maybe than today, you should kind of stand still today. But we're right up against that level, selling pressure hitting equities once again. We're down across the board, losses of over 1% for the NASDAQ and S&P. And I think at some point during the day, by the way, the 10 year did top 5%, but it pulled back so it was brief. But, and when we've seen the dollar continue to move higher and then now we're, everyone worried about intervention. So we've got a lot going on. How are you feeling about the market environment right now?
Speaker 3
It feels like it's pretty much on
Speaker 1
track to the natural ways these things play out, right? The fed raised rates, there's this lag.
Speaker 3
The lag is normally
Speaker 1
6 to 12 months. And during the
Speaker 3
lag, it's such a
Speaker 1
long and variable lag as Milton Friedman says that
Speaker 3
people start to think, oh,
Speaker 1
there won't be a collapse. And the markets really finally rolled over in the last 30 days from being fed driven to being sort of now in the hands of the bondholders,
Speaker 3
the bond market controls the market now or it didn't before.
