Cut the Fat, but Cut the Fluff
M, i think it comes under the banner of fluff. A misconception around jill coding is that it's just good to slap something on. It can actually be more confusing and overloading as people are trying to work out what your picture is trying to say. But suppose the question to ask yourself is, does this image give conceptual information? Does it improve the concept for them? Or is it just decorativead? And then i would say, trim the fat, but cut the fluff.
