When something becomes subconscious, you've kind of outsourcing a job to somebody else. That's what happens with negative thoughts. You're trying to pull them out of your subconscious and bring them into your conscious awareness. When it is in your conscious awareness, you can intercept and change. So that is the beauty of it. You write everything down, okay? The next time you think this thought, you're like, oh, I'm going to write this down tonight. It doesn't go unnoticed."
