If we're just extrapolating current growth rates out into the future, that world is perhaps thousands of years away. But what about if the growth rate is itself speeding up? Here's one scenario. This means that the growth rates accelerate and we, and they reach kind of extreme levels this century. So perhaps we see the world economy doubling every year or perhaps even every month.
