Is There No Such Thing as Time?
Science comes from the conviction that the universe is intelligible. We can't a priori be certain of any of our explanations, so we have an imperative to test them and calibrate them against reality. That's what we call sometimes empiricism, for example, in testing of the validity and repetitive truth of an observation. But there are many insights of science that I argue must form part of the worldview,. including the moral worldview of any educated person.
