- We have conflated what is familiar with what is comfortable.
- Fear and people-pleasing aren't always "bad" - sometimes they're necessary and/or keep you safe.
- Heightened emotional states require acute care, not personal development tools.

- Progressive language (stating you are taking action toward something) can be really helpful in shifting beliefs.
- Our bodies are forcing us to slow down... We have to TAKE rest because it is so rarely given.
