Saadiya's Theology of Reason

The moral of the story applies to Islam and Christianity too, writes David Frum. Others of all three faiths were typically optimistic about reason and its ability to discover the most important truths. But many of them also carefully defined boundaries past which reason could not go, at least not without help in the form of revelation.
