Do You Have a Best and Final?
Before sending an LOI, I always have a best and final conversation with my management team so that we know where we'd be willing to walk away. You don't want to think that through in flight because what if they come back to you a week from now and they go, here's our counter. So there's a bunch of noise to skin the cat, but yeah, you definitely want to have thought that through.
