Sleeping with the lights on very confusing to your brain. If you're a shift worker, especially in your sleeping a lot during the day, you want that room be so dark that you cannot see your hand from your face. And if you can't do that, then you like, set ear plugs or a mask over your eyes. Is prie jus as good. In your book, you mention it's ok to not sleep in the same room as a spouse or a partner. It is.
