The EU's Decision to Focus on Cosmetics
The EU wants to count anything that is a synthetic polymer as a microplastic. It's interesting that they're choosing to focus on cosmetics because when you think about the grand scheme of things between a household and industrial products versus cosmetic products cosmetics are such a small fraction of this chemical burden. The industry is so picked on but I don't know I think it's because it's an easy target. A lot of people look at cosmetics as you know frivolous or things that you don't really need.
