There are really two pieces to sarcopenia. There's how much new muscle is being built and how much existing muscle is being lost. I speculate that rapamycin, we know it can have an anti-inflammatory effect in that context. And I speculate that that might actually be beneficial in the context of building new muscle. But we don't know for sure. It may be that if you were to take rapamycin in thecontext of your existing resistance training workout, that you would gain new muscle more slowly. That's certainly possible. The situation is very complicated.
