There's the obvious logic of turn on the stress response. Some lion has just ripped your stomach open. Ooh, here comes a lion. There can be a logical stress response. And you're then in very human specific domains. All we have done is taken that evolutionary logic of being capable of some degree of anticipatory stress responses. We've done crazy human stuff with it, of just abstracting it over space and time. Suddenly you're turning on stress responses for things a thousand years in the future or a thousand years ago.
