The right atrium is in fact the most common site of thrombous formation. The main pulmonary artery is 25 millimeters and the subsegmental pulmonary arteries are around six to sevenmillimeters. This affect the rates of symptomatic embolization that we might see, you know, clinical stroke versus say someone who has a small PE.
