Robin: For coach in practice our consideration of how we assess prior knowledge is a really interesting one to think going forward. How do we use questioning to check understanding but also try and delay that with our ability to observe skills and practice? Robin: I certainly don't think it's straightforward but something for thought around when they come into our sessions what are we doing as coaches or what are our processes around that Jamie talked about the environment he is in with all of the component parts that allow him to probably check prior knowledge in lots of different spaces whether that's on pitch off pitch hot and cold type environments.
