Training Attention Is So Powerful
Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to the present moment without editorializing about it. It could be used by elite athletes, or military personnel, or business leaders. The work in my lab has really aimed to work at essentially elite performers. We know that when the circumstances in our minds contain that kind of content, our ability to pay attention ti any of these ways you've bee talking about will become compromised.
