The Effect of Stimulus on Perception

If the other parent's screaming, causing a scandal, that child is then going to absorb that. They're saying the fear, the terror in their parents' eyes whenever they do something minor. It's not the event itself that paints our experience off it, it is our perception and our emotions around it because an emotion is a chemical reaction in your brain. The stimulus itself can cause someone to grow and learn and take leaps and bounds and it can cause someone else to shut down completely.
